Pre-K Mixed Media Art: AGES 4-6

In this awesome class we will be working with all different types of media including paint, paper mache, charcoal, drawing, mosaic and more! Included in this 45 minute class is a period of games and activities designed to help children focus.

Mixed Media Art: AGES 7-TEEN

Work with all different types of media such as paint, clay, paper mache, drawing, water colors, mosaics and more! Study famous artists and learn art appreciation as well in this 60 minute class.

Cartooning: AGES 7-TEEN

Learn drawing techniques while studying fun and popular cartoon figures. Learn important drawing techniques with a fun cartoon twist that works with all drawing mediums such as such as pencil, oil pastel, chalk pastel and more! Class length is 60 minutes.

Painting: AGES 7-TEEN

Our amazing 60 minute painting class works with several mediums of paint such as acrylic, watercolor, and oil paint. We also study famous artists, art appreciation and history as well as important techniques.

Musical Theatre: AGES 4-8 & 9-TEEN

Learn spoken dialogue, acting, dance choreography, and singing. The story and emotional content of the piece love, anger words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole. A great class for boys and girls! Several performances throughout the year.

Acting/Drama: AGES 4-8 & 9-TEEN

This class gives students a taste of what it means to be an actor. Students in this class

will leave with a basic understanding of theatre fundamentals including stage directions, theatre terminology and a brief history of theatre. They will also explore improv, scene study and performance as well as learn how to audition for a play.

Jazz/Tap: AGES 7-10 & 9-TEEN

Jazz is a stylized and technical form of dance that considers placement, precision, strength, flexibility, combined with the use of rythmic music. Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. The class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun.

Hip Hop: AGES 4-6 & 7-10

Street dance meets stylized music in this high-energy (almost aerobic!) class. Isolations, footwork, and rhythms get faster and more challenging as dancers progress. And donpropriate moves and music. This is an encouraging opportunity to express their freestyle movements, fostering their own unique style and building their self-confidence.

Ballet/Tap: AGES 4-6 & 7-10

A fun combination class which introduces ballet and tap skills, while using creative movement techniques in order to develop body awareness, and spatial perceptions.

Jazz/Lyrical: AGES 9-TEEN

Very similar to ballet, combining the many technical elements of classical ballet with the freedom, fluidity, expressiveness and airier aspects of jazz, contemporary and modern dance.

Adult Dance Sampler:

An introduction to the basic fundamentals of different Ballroom genres which will add style, grace, spice and pizazz to onesocial dancing repertoire. Master the basic steps and combinations of each genre. The main objective of this class is to have fun! No partner needed.

Private Dance Lessons:

One on one dance instruction in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical styles. Working on body awareness, proper techniques, agility and over all strength.

Open Call Audition Prep:

Get the additional help to prepare for that big theatrical audition or commercial spot.

Drill Team/Cheer Prep:

Seasonal class geared toward students wishing to try out for their schoolInstruction on basic drill team technique including high kicks, turns, leaps, and splits. Students will learn proper hook-up & kick line technique and work on developing their strength and flexibility.

Recitals & Art Exhibits

Our art and group dance classes have several showcases throughout the year, showing family and friends what they have learned in that period. Group dance and theatre classes also have several bigger performances during the year.
